What made my day..I was about to get off the train
and a guy handed me an old bus ticket saying I dropped it.
I took it and was like "Sure" I even thought I might of
because it was from the same bus company I use

But the ticket said $3.50, mine is normally $1.70
So I thought he had just made a mistake.
I was going to scrunch it up and throw it out in the bin
but as I was walking along the train platform
it just occurred to me to check the back of the ticket.

He had written 'you're beautiful' on the back c:

because they usually suggest something else

The Cold Heart The snow; trailing down in soft flakes, allowing the scene to morph in to a christmas card; laughter and joy ripped at the cold, crepuscular night and collections of mistletoe adhered over many doors. The clink and clash of glasses, filled to the brim with mulled wine disturbed me even now.

I sat in the middle of the graveyard. The bitter weather just etching at my skin, but I liked the way it felt. I missed feeling it. The snow was accumalating where I rested and my large, black eyes opened to see the same dreadful, pitiful world as usual. Christmas? The time for laughter, for joy and most of all for food. I once had a brother... I took a deep breath.

He's your brother. I encouraged myself.

I looked at his room's door. The door behind he was hiding ever since I came back home, two weeks ago. I only saw him twice since then. The sign on it said: "Keep out." I found it weird because I have never seen that sign before I left for college, and it also irked me that he closed the door. That door was always open.

I knocked.

There was no answer.

I knocked again.

Nobody answered this time, either, so I opened the door and stepped in. I was somewhat surprised to see the darkness in the room. I went and turned on the lights.

Inspiration 1 Where do I get my inspiration?
I get it from my family - from my mom and dad, my brothers, from my friends... I call them sisters and brothers, too.
I get my inspiration from life - The color of the forests and oceans, the crime and history of the world.
